Well first things first! My name is Ben Crouch II.  I was born in a small town in Georgia over two decades ago. I moved to Kansas when I was little and I’ve lived here ever since.  It’s really great once you get used to it.

Right now I am finishing my last semester of college attempting to receive a bachelors degree with a major in geology.  It rocks so far!  Sorry, that joke comes with the major.  I really enjoy petroleum geology and I have planned my life, with the help of my amazing father, mother, step parents, grandparents and even my little shit sisters, to put me in a position to make that field of science my career.

When I make time away from school, which happens more than it probably should, what do I like to do?  Well, on the most general sense I like to have fun.  Typically this takes form in playing magic the gathering, drinking with friends, rebuilding my 1966 mgb, playing skyrim, reading, fishing, swimming, traveling, all kinds of things!  Sometimes I love being in big groups and sometimes I like to spend hours alone.  I’m a man of great variation, or so I like to think.

My dreams for the future aren’t unrealistic or extraordinary.  In fact, for most of my life I don’t believe I really had any.  Right now my dream is to live on a sail boat as I sail around the world.  I just love the thought of meeting new people and new places while never having to leave home.  It may be worth mentioning that I have never sailed a boat over 6 meters before…  I’d also like to do be able to finance myself while I travel.  I think I would be able to do that by writing.  I really believe that I have many stories worth telling.  Hopefully I can convince you of that as I publish stories to this blog.
